Walt Disney Fantasia US 2-LP vinyl set

ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK Fantasia (1982 USA 9-track double LP, featuring the digitally re-recorded music for the film. When the original film print was remastered, it was found that the music from 1940 [albeit the first stereophonic cinematic release] no longer matched up to the enhanced visual experience. Disney studios finally took the decision to re-record the soundtrack music, adhering faithfully to Leopold Stokowski's original arrangements, in order to present the soundtrack in Dolby Stereo upon re-release. This double album features that re-recorded soundtrack, as conducted by Irwin Kostal, in a lovely gatefold picture sleeve with detailed notes & pictures from the remaster. The cover shows minimal wear with nothing that stands in the way of the fantastic artwork. The vinyl discs are Excellent with just a few faint paper hairlines not affecting play)
