HUMPHREY LYTTELTON One Day I Met An African (Deleted 1980 UK Black Lion label 9-track LP, featuring the late Humphrey Lyttelton with Roy Williams [trombone], Bruce Turner [alto sax, clarinet], Johnny Barnes [baritone sax], Mick Pyne [piano,cornet], Dave Green [bass], and Alan Jackson [drums]. Includes Hot House, two Buck Clayton numbers, Kenny Graham's title track plus three originals. Full glossy picture sleeve with amusing and rather touching album notes from the man himself. Thesleeve shows light wear, this copy has a small sticker mark to the right corner, whilst the vinyl displays the odd faint cosmetic scuff but looks barely played BLP12199)
