THE JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE / THE WHO Battle Of The Who & Jimi Hendrix (Rare 1971 Japanese Polydor 'Rock & Rock Battle Series' exclusive 25-track 2-LP box set manufactured by Nippon Grammophon, featuring one LP of Hendrix material & the otherof The Who. Comes housed in a unique 12" circular metal tin complete with circular six-page booklet, a foam liner, the circular 'Mandrill' Grammophon sheet, competition insert plus the rare as hen's teeth shaped obi-tag with the serieslogoin circular red & white. The tin packaging remains nice & clean & in Excellent condition with some natural tarnishing in a few areas commensurate with age. The booklet shows some minor ageing with a few loose pages inside whilst the obi tag & the foam lining has survived all this time unscathed. The vinyl is in superb Excellent condition with just the occasional faint sign of play. Tough to find complete! MP9365/6)
