JIMI HENDRIX Band Of Gypsys (Rare 1970 first UK issue 6-track Stereo LP, withdrawn 'puppet' sleeve with pinched spine. These earliest copies of Band of Gypsys depicted puppets of Hendrix, Brian Jones, Bob Dylan & English DJ John Peel, as foundhere. Reportedly Peel complained and the cover was withdrawn and replaced with the more common live shot)

Condition
The sleeve shows just a little light shelfwear, with very little fading & just a little light edge scuffing, in no way upsetting this rare design. This is one of the better examples we've seen in recent years.
The labels have no tears or writing & few spindle marks around the centre hole, insdicating light or careful play. The vinyl remains in superb condition and has retained its sheen with no significant marks or blemishes. Thanks to the quality of British vinyl from this period, Hendrix rings out loud & clear.
A really nice first edition of this classic collectable.
